The chef behind the flavours
Meet the chef behind Little Saigon.

Some recipes are more than recipes.
They carry memories.
Memories of home.
Of family meals.
Of ingredients carefully prepared.
Of flavours that stay with you, even when you are far from home.
Our chef knows that feeling well.
Having once cooked at the Vietnamese restaurant at this very address, he is returning to 03 Church Street, Bishop’s Stortford bringing back the flavours that many guests may remember and love.
But this is not simply a return to the past.
It is a new chapter.
At Little Saigon, those familiar Vietnamese flavours meet a fresh new space and a new way of creating an experience for our guests.
His cooking is inspired by the food he grew up with in Vietnam — fresh herbs, vegetables, rice, carefully prepared ingredients and, above all, food made with care.
From the slow-simmered richness of our beef broth to the vibrant flavours of Vietnamese street food, every dish is prepared with the hope of bringing a little taste of home to Bishop’s Stortford.
For those who remember his cooking, welcome back.
For those meeting him for the first time, we hope you enjoy the journey.
See you at Little Saigon.
